Gastrointestinal and Hepatobiliary Center

Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)

Our facility is equipped with various advanced endoscopic instruments for performing ERCP, as well as gastroscopy, colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy, 3D imaging endoscopy, esophageal motility function tests, 24-hour gastric acid monitoring, and other examinations.

In addition, ERCP can also be used for the treatment of early-stage liver malignancies through liver cancer radiofrequency ablation (RFA), eliminating the risks associated with surgical procedures and providing high-quality services to local residents.

ERCP is a diagnostic method that involves injecting contrast agents directly into the bile ducts to obtain clear imaging of the entire biliary system and pancreas. It can detect the presence of stones, tumors, and other abnormalities in the bile ducts, gallbladder, and pancreas, as well as assess the extent of any dilation or narrowing of the bile ducts. The positive diagnosis rate of biliary system diseases with ERCP can reach 95%. Its greatest advantage is the ability to perform immediate interventional therapy for detected abnormalities.

Painless Colonoscopy without Anesthesia and Nasogastric Endoscopy

Colorectal cancer is the “most common newly diagnosed cancer,” and many individuals avoid undergoing colonoscopy due to fear of pain, often resulting in delayed treatment. Traditional methods of performing painless colonoscopy using anesthesia drugs also come with increased risks associated with both the procedure and anesthesia, creating a love-hate situation. Our reputable gastroenterologists specialize in performing single-operator colonoscopy, utilizing the long scope shortening technique to unravel colon loops. This allows patients to undergo a painless full colonoscopy without the need for anesthesia. We recommend regular colonoscopy screenings, polyp removal, and staying away from colorectal cancer! Additionally, nasogastric endoscopy can avoid discomfort and vomiting during the examination, significantly enhancing the quality of the procedure.
