Yuan Rung’s International Medical Platform Facilitates Successful Da Vinci Surgery for Mongolian Patient’s Kidney Preservation

             Nomuunaa was diagnosed with a tumor in her left kidney during a routine health check. Major hospitals in Japan, South Korea, and China all recommended the removal of her left kidney. Since learning about the need for kidney removal, Nomuunaa’s demeanor has changed. The idea that our bodies and skin are inherited from our parents intensified the anxiety and sadness felt by her parents.

             Fortunately, Nomuunaa’s parents happened to meet a friend who recommended the Yuan-Rung Medical System, which provides medical assistance to people in need in Mongolia. In 2018, when the Yuan-Rung Medical System visited Mongolia, they sought help. Nomuunaa underwent surgery at Tri-Service General Hospital under the capable hands of Dr. Wu Sheng-Tang, the Director of the Department of Urology. The surgical procedure utilized Da Vinci endoscopic techniques, which not only successfully removed the tumor but also spared the need for removal of the left kidney. This surgery led to Nomuunaa’s full recovery from her illness. Once again, the beauty of Nomuunaa’s smiling eyes returned to her face.
