Since 2017, Mr. B from Mongolia has been undergoing medical treatment and health check-ups in Taiwan. He received treatment at other hospitals three times, but the results were unsatisfactory. In 2022, he was diagnosed with lung cancer that had already metastasized to multiple areas. He was then referred to the Yuan Sheng Branch within the Yuan Rung Medical System for treatment. Deputy Medical Director Chuan-Chou Tu, a chest medicine specialist, prescribed targeted cancer drugs for the patient. Even after returning to Mongolia, the patient continued to have video consultations with Deputy Medical Director Tu, who provided detailed interpretations of various blood and imaging reports. In the same year, the patient expressed a desire to come to Taiwan for Deputy Medical Director Tu to conduct a reassessment of his condition. However, the patient’s visit was postponed due to the pandemic and the patient’s own medical condition. It was finally arranged a few months ago.
In addition to Mr. B’s visit to Taiwan for follow-up examinations, his wife, elder brother-in-law, and sister-in-law also came for health check-ups, demonstrating their confidence in the Yuan Rung Medical System. During the check-up, his sister-in-law unexpectedly discovered a 90% blockage in her coronary artery. Dr. Yu-Feng Chen , the head of the cardiology department, promptly arranged for her hospitalization on the same day and scheduled a coronary catheterization in the afternoon. Yuan Rung Hospital’s efficient services deeply touched Mr. B’s family, prompting them to express their gratitude through letters and flowers to the medical staff involved.
Due to Yuan Rung’s timely intervention, Mr. B actively referred several lung cancer cases to Yuan Rung for specialized treatment upon returning to Mongolia last year.
