Precautious of Diabetic

  1. Diet飲食:
  • Try to avoid sweets, such as cake, juice, drinks, fruits.

少吃甜食,包括糕餅、甜點、果汁、飲料、水果…等。

  • Don’t overeat. Take less starchy food, such as rice, noodles, bun, and bread. Take more fresh vegetables.

勿吃過飽,澱粉類如飯、麵、粥、饅頭、麵包…等勿吃過多,可多攝取蔬菜。

  • Regular and quantitative diet.

定時進餐,避免進食時間延遲或提早。

  • Avoid smoking and drinking.

避免飲用酒精類飲料。

  • Keep in a normal range of ideal body weight, IBW. The algorithm for IBW is

IBW= Height2 (M)*22

A reasonable weight range is 10 percent above and below your IBW.

定期量體重並維持適當體重。

  • Avoid excessive intake of fatty, salty, and cholesterol foods

避免食用高膽固醇、高脂肪及高鹽飲食。

  1. Diabetic foot care足部護理:
  • Check the feet every day for wound and any abnormality.

定期檢查足部皮膚。

  • Keep in good circulation of feet.促進足部血循
  • Avoid using hot compresses or hot water bottles , which can burn your skin.

以溫水(避免熱水)泡雙腳但時間不要太長。

  • Keep warm in cold days.

冬天應注意保暖。

  • Use a lubricant such as lotion for dry skin to prevent excessive dryness and massage gently.

以潤膚乳液按摩足部。

  • Do not wear pants that are too tight.

避免穿過緊長褲。

  • Don’t cross your legs when sitting, it would lead to compression of blood vessels and hinder blood circulation.

坐時避免兩腳交叉。

  • Return to the hospital when there’s wound of feet.

腳部有受傷時應求醫,切勿自己塗藥處理。

  1. Cleaning身體清潔:
  • Avoid using the water too hot when bathing

每天洗澡不可過熱以免燙傷。

  • Keep the perineum and feet dry and clean

陰部及腳趾皮膚保持乾燥。

  1. Resting and exercise休息與運動:

Keep adequate exercise and adequate rest.
