Yuan Rung Hospital has been improved its medical equipment and technology consistently since establishment and the hospital also soon has come to the fore after it. Yuan Rung Hospital is the only area hospital that earned an excellent grade in hospital accreditation. In 1997, this hospital got certified to international medical service and committed promoting international medical care.
Even the resources are limited to most of area hospitals for promoting international medical services, however, the “Taiwan-Mongolia International Medical and Health Platform” team integrates resources by expanding domestic strategic alliances, strengthening the international market research and bargaining power. The strategy used is to organize the Taiwan National Medical Team to jointly promote medical exchanges with Mongolia, establish bilateral trade exchanges, and various cooperation mechanisms between the two countries in medical and health affairs.
The main achievements in the last three years, which has included the following contents: 3 volunteer medical consultations to Mongolia, done free consultations for more than 600 patients, signing of MOUs with 17 local medical institutions in Mongolia, and reception of more than 80 people from Mongolian medical, official, and industrial sectors, served 153 Mongolian international patients, trained 43 Mongolian doctors, treated 2 Mongolian patients with severe disease for free, and bridged five bilateral industrial cooperation.
